The first race car that ADR built is an original Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000 AVO (M reg) in its original colour of Olympic blue, with a modified dry sumped Ford Pinto 2l engine.

The current numberplate is : WEY 57M (1974)

The original numberplate was : HEY 658

The team brought the bare chassis in 1997, and proceeded to build the car with the intention of racing it. The project has take slightly longer than expected to reach the circuit, and has cost a lot more than expected as well ! For the full story of the project, click on the menu above.
